You should have synchro on all but first gear :? 58 Deluxes really are the best Beetles for reliable great daily use. I've owned four. It's all down-hill the following years on with meddling changes by VW, mostly aimed at making the Beetle cheaper to produce.

'58 bugs bloody aint reliable when you have a late engine and original '58 gearbox! :lol:
