1965 deluxe should the logo on the hubcap be painted? if so what colour?

No, they shouldn't be any colour at all. Can't tell you the exact date without consulting my books :lol: , but am sure it was sometime in 1963 (August for the '64 model year??) that they stopped......which is why for my Dec '62 Ghia I had to paint the VW motif in the hubcaps black...any younger and the hubcaps would've been plain chrome! :wink:
