Thanks; had thought my car should have ribbed/grooved semaphores but saw a Zwitter at a show a few weeks ago and it had smooth ones..... At least you've now confirmed my doubts about the ribbed/grooved issue! :wink:

That zwitter was not in original condition thats for sure ! ! I have seen one of the first ovals in original condition with these semaphores ! Check the picture !! [ATTACH]353[/Attach]

oops... Wrote a mistake... :( My car is from 1953 Sept. 19th... But still has ribbed semaphores. :wink:
