Hi there, I am brand new to Pre67vw and I am really impressed and pleased to have found you all. I own a 1966 Deluxe Type 1 and I adore him! I am currently restoring him back to his glorious splendour! I am only the second owner having owned him for nearly 15years and he has only clocked up 55k in total. Unfortunately he has experienced some front end damage but thankfully the only damage to be seen is on the inner front wings, offside in particular. I am desperately looking for genuine or even better NOS inner wings. Can anyone assist or know someone who might have a couple hiding away somewhere for a rainy day?? Well today is the day as it is bucketing down!! Fingers crossed I wait with baited breath to a response. I will post some pictures of the restoration, when I can work out how to do it!!
