Original description:
Blaupunkt Hamburg TR AM De-Luxe Radio dating from 1960, the faceplate is the correct type for fitting in an Oval Beetle. This was an original VW accessory radio available through VW dealers.
This example is in fully working condition and is switchable between 6v and 12v via a rotating switch inside the unit. The radio has early 'chunky' pushbuttons as used on all pre-1962 Blaupunkts. The chrome faceplate has 'Blaupunkt' embossed across the centre and is designed to fit through the central dashboard hole (see pictures for mock fitting of the radio in a dashboard). The faceplate has some light 'scuffs' and is a little dented at each side- as you can see from the pictures, these aren't really noticable!
Price £125.
